The “Teens React to MLP:FiM” video left me feeling very disappointed with today’s youth.

I’m a 21 year old female, and I adore MLP. My boyfriend likes it and so do many other guys I know. All of which are guys I consider to be very “manly” - and they are all straight, for the record (not that it should matter). Just because they can admit that MLP:FiM is a funny, cute show, doesn’t make them any less of a man. If anything, it makes them more of a man. I have much more respect for men who are capable of being in touch with their feminine side. It shows that they don’t think femininity is a bad thing. As far as I’m concerned, many of the teens featured in that video are sexist - including some of the girls.

I am quite saddened by this video. I thought today’s teens were closer to gender equality than people used to be, but apparently not. I also wonder what the reactions might have been with teens from another country besides America.

Hey that’s only a small amount of teens, I for one love MLP FIM, and I also am disappointed with most of the teens of my generation.

Not because it’s grimdark. Not because it’s post-apocalyptic (which is a genre I generally dislike), not because it’s it’s badly written (it’s not), not because ponies get hurt, but because at this point it’s doing nothing but stifling creativity.

I hate Fallout: Equestria because it’s caused so many promising potential writers to forego writing their own new, creative fanfiction to essentially copy-paste somebody else’s. Every single day I see a new Fallout: Equestria spinoff crop up and I have to give a good facehoof. Why would you forego making your own new and interesting story to just go rip off somebody else? It’s just stifling is all it is.

I hate the Conversion Bureau in much the same way.

You have to realize people aren’t as creative as you think, some people can just really take off with an idea that’s not there’s especially with such a well written story, heck if I had been a bit quicker to put 2 and 2 together i would have done a fallout equestria based on fallout 1 or 2, but I’m already on my own story. And in a way your a hypocrite, any person making a fanfiction is essentially ripping off another story and doing their own thing with it. Just food for thought.

Alright Ponies Listen Up. I have a vision. A vision to bring all the Tumblrs of the Tumblrverse together in one massive collaboration pic. How this works? Basically it starts off with one massive picture that will have all (or at least alot of) ponies. The way this works, I will start with drawing a picture and then I will pass the photo along, so another pony can place their mark in the picture, and so on and so forth. Please keep to your own picture and don’t edit any others unless you have permission from the original artist. Planning on a day to start this. By the time we finish, it will end in one MASSIVE PONY PICTURE, where EVERYTHING AND EVERYPONY draws closer together. This is a good way to bring the Brony Community closer together. But, I need to know who wants in on this. Firstly, Send your name to the asknightflower blog and I will put your name on the list. Secondly, you have to reblog this to spread the word
